Hi, I’m Mr. Luis Daniel Garcia, and I’ve been teaching for the past four years and loving every second of it! I graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Religious Studies, and later earned my Master of Divinity from Talbot School of Theology at Biola University. While I once thought I’d end up in ministry, God had other plans, and thankfully, those plans included teaching!
I first stepped into education by teaching Church History and New Testament through an online program, and from the very first lesson, I was hooked. I eventually became a full-time online teacher, but after getting married in May of 2023, I felt the pull toward teaching in person. The Lord graciously opened that door, and I’ve been thrilled to be back in the classroom ever since.
When I’m not teaching, I’m probably doing something very nerdy. I’m a big Marvel, DC, and Star Wars fan (yes, I think they can all coexist peacefully). I love watching movies, playing guitar, hiking new trails with my wife, and geeking out over a good story, whether it’s on screen, in Scripture, in a comic book, or around the campfire.
I’m passionate about Classical Christian education because it combines the pursuit of truth, goodness, and beauty while being centered on Christ. I truly believe that learning should be meaningful, challenging, and a little bit fun. As I continue to journey with the Lord through this strange and curious world, I have learned that things don't always work out the way you think they do. It pulls me into the old passage in scripture, Proverbs 16:9: “Man plans his ways, but the Lord directs his steps.”
